Saturday Morning Junior Clinics - Beginning May 17th
The Saturday Morning Junior Clinics are a great way to get a child started in golf. The areas of instruction vary each week and include full-swing, pitching, chipping, and putting. If juniors do not have golf clubs, appropriate size clubs will be supplied to them at no additional cost. The first clinic for golfers ages 5-8 years old begins at 9:00 am. The second clinic for golfers ages 9 and older begins at 10:15 am. The clinic cost is $15 per junior golfer.
Summer Junior Camps
These four-day camps are designed for beginner and intermediate level junior golfers and focus on full-swing, pitching, chipping, putting, the rules of golf, and course ettiquette.
We have no greater than a 7 to 1 student teacher ratio, which ensures that each child receives quality instruction and attention from our staff. If juniors do not have their own golf clubs, appropriate size clubs will be supplied to them at no additional cost.
The recommended age is 7 years-old and up. Each camp session begins at 9:00 am and lasts until noon. The cost to attend a summer camp is $175 per student and enrollment is limited to the first 50 children. Packages are available for campers who wish to attend multiple camps throughout the summer.
Advanced Junior Classes
The goal of this program is to help prepare experienced junior golfers who currently play or plan to participate in competitive golf . During each one-day session, students receive instruction at the Man O' War Golf Learning Center as well as area golf courses. Areas of instruction include: short-game development, bunker play, course management, rules of golf, specialty shots, and other elements needed to succeed in competitive golf.
The recommended ages are 10 to 17, and each class is limited to the 12 golfers. The cost to attend one class is $150 per student. Four-session packages are available for $500. Camp fees include all instruction, green fees, and lunch.
